Ragini Maddipati oversees the dual-degree MPH programs at the School of Public Health, helping students navigate the process of earning an MPH and a graduate degree in law, medicine, social work, business, architecture, or anthropology. She also teaches Foundations of Public Health Epidemiology and Public Health Seminar, and previously served as an adjunct instructor at WashU Medicine through the Clinical Research Training Center. Her community work includes serving on the advisory board for WashU’s Campus Y, which engages undergraduate students in service-learning opportunities on campus and in the greater St. Louis area. She also serves on the Association of Schools and Programs in Public Health Institutional Excellence Advisory Committee and the Title X Advisory Committee for BeaconPro Health.

Maddipati has worked in higher education administration for the last six years, holding roles in student applied practice and assistant deanships in social work and public health, with a focus on education policy, student support, assessment and accreditation. Prior to that, she worked in clinical research, data management and analysis, program management and evaluation, as well as sexual and reproductive health and reproductive justice.  She was a key member of the Contraceptive CHOICE Project and worked on clinical research initiatives focused on expanding health equity and reproductive health services in the St. Louis area. Her work helped reduce barriers to reproductive health care, particularly for underserved populations.
