Nathanael Smith, MD, MBA, is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at WashU Medicine. Also the director of global health initiatives for the Department of Emergency Medicine at WashU Medicine, Smith’s research interests are focused on improving emergency medical services (EMS) and emergency medicine in West and East Africa.
