Juliet Iwelunmor, PhD, is a professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and an associate director for global health and dissemination at WashU Medicine. A passionate advocate for sustaining evidence-based health interventions, Iwelunmor uses participatory research to study how to make impactful interventions last by amplifying the voices of communities and young people in these health interventions. Iwelunmor directs the WashU Medicine Light Institute for Global Health and Transformation, which pursues public health interventions and improvements centered on health initiatives co-created by the public and researchers.
