Tuberculosis researcher Christina Stallings, PhD, is the Theodore and Bertha Bryan Professor in Environmental Medicine and a professor of molecular microbiology at WashU Medicine. She seeks to understand how TB bacteria persist inside the body, cause disease and resist treatment, with a goal of developing better treatments for the deadliest infection in the world.
