Bridgette Svancarek, MD, is an associate professor of emergency medicine at WashU Medicine. The division chief for emergency medical services, Svancarek is involved in medical direction of area EMS agencies as well as EMS education at the local, state and national levels and works to improve the quality of prehospital care.
