Talking Public Health with Zhang Zhang

Zhang Zhang, PhD, MSc, is a post-doctoral fellow in Health Services Research for Aging Populations in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research aims to improve access and quality of care for complex medical conditions and to promote healthy aging. She focuses on evaluating the impact of digital health technology innovation such as telehealth, health information systems, and artificial intelligence on health access, behaviors, and outcomes; and on the impact of value-based insurance payment reform such as Medicare Advantage on early diagnosis and prevention-oriented care for brain health disorders, including cognitive impairment and dementia.

Zhang will give a talk titled, “Digital Health Integration and Insurance Policy: Advancing Chronic Conditions Prevention and Management for Healthy Aging.” The talk will be available in person and on Zoom.

The Talking Public Health seminar series features presentations by leading thinkers in public health at WashU and elsewhere. Speakers present their work and engage with the audience to advance the ideas that shape public health. Each talk is recorded and posted to the School of Public Health’s YouTube channel.
