Octavio Mesner is a research assistant professor at the Brown School at WashU. He holds a joint Ph.D. in Statistics & Data Science and Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as master’s degrees in Machine Learning and Biostatistics. His talk, titled “Entropy, causation, and sexually transmitted infections,” will be available in person and online.
