Talking Public Health with Jennifer Layden

Jennifer Layden, MD, PhD, is an infectious disease physician and epidemiologist. She serves as the senior vice president for ASTHO, the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. In this role, she oversees efforts to advance state and territorial infrastructure, workforce, and data capacity, and is expanding public-private partnerships that accelerate the work of public health across the nation. Her research and scientific focus has included viral hepatitis and transplant infectious diseases, as well as core areas of public health practice such as outbreak response and data modernization.

Her talk is titled, “Public Health Practice: Building Partnerships to Protect our Communities.” Join in person or online via Zoom.
