Talking Public Health with Elyse Thulin

Elyse Thulin, PhD, a research assistant professor with the University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention, is a behavioral scientist who uses mixed computational, statistical, and qualitative methods to understand digital behaviors that inform health behaviors and outcomes related to mental health, violence, and substance use. Thulin has dual PhDs in health behavior health education and in scientific computing from the University of Michigan. Her talk, titled “Digital influences on health and well-being: Help-seeking, school interventions and public health applications of LLMs,” will be in person and online.
