Talking Public Health with Andrew Williams

Andrew D. Williams, PhD, MPH, is an associate professor in the Department of Population Health and the Department of Indigenous Health inn in the Public Health Program at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. A perinatal epidemiologist, Williams has an interest in structural inequalities, stress, and obstetric and pediatric health outcomes with consequences across the life span.

Williams will speak on, “Maternal care in context: Integrating epidemiology, health systems and community contexts to understand perinatal inequities.” The talk will be available in person or over Zoom.

The Talking Public Health seminar series features presentations by leading thinkers in public health at WashU and elsewhere. Speakers present their work and engage with the audience to advance the ideas that shape public health. Each talk is recorded and posted to the School of Public Health’s YouTube channel.
