Talking Public Health with Proscovia Nabunya

Proscovia Nabunya, PhD, is an associate professor and director of the International Center for Child Health and Development (ICHAD) at the Brown School. Her global research focuses on HIV prevention and stigma reduction interventions, mental health within the context of HIV, and family and community-based support systems as protective factors for the development and well-being of children and families in low resource settings.

Her talk is titled, “Innovative global health approaches to addressing HIV stigma and mental health challenges among youth and families in low resource settings.” The talk will be available in-person and on Zoom. 

The Talking Public Health seminar series features presentations by leading thinkers in public health at WashU and elsewhere. Speakers present their work and engage with the audience to advance the ideas that shape public health. Each talk is recorded and posted to the School of Public Health’s YouTube channel.
