Climate and Health Data Jam

As part of WashU’s Geography Awareness Week, the Climate & Health Data Jam brings WashU faculty, staff, postdocs, and students together to explore the connections between climate, environment, and human health through real-world data.

In this half-day, collaborative workshop, attendees will work with curated datasets from Missouri and the bi-state region, including extreme heat and rainfall, disease, social vulnerability, and infrastructure, to uncover patterns, develop visualizations, and generate new research questions and ideas. Data champions and facilitators will provide guidance along the way.

No advanced coding or data science experience is required. Whether you’re a seasoned analyst or simply curious about climate and health, come noodle, learn, experiment, and connect across disciplines.
