As part of Public Health Ideas, a platform for the dean of WashU School of Public Health to share and discuss researchers’ work, Dean Sandro Galea, MD, DrPH, talks with Samuel Kizito, MD, PhD, of the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. The two discussed a paper Kizito co-authored, “The long-term impact of family economic empowerment on viral suppression and mental health outcomes among adolescents living with HIV in low-income settings: A cluster-randomized controlled trial in Southern Uganda.”
Dean Sandro Galea, MD, DrPH, talks with Patrick Aguilar, MD, MBA, managing director of health and a professor of practice of organizational behavior at WashU Olin Business School, with a secondary appointment at WashU School of Public Health. They discussed the topic of using better business practices to improve health outcomes.
Dean Sandro Galea, MD, DrPH, talks with Amy McQueen, PhD, a professor at WashU School of Public Health who studies health behavior. She is also co-director of the School of Public Health’s Health Communication Research Laboratory. She and the dean discussed health behavior and shaping better approaches to health communication.
