William G. Powderly, MD, is the Dr. J. William Campbell Professor of Medicine at WashU Medicine. Also the director of WashU’s Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences, Powderly is focused on helping translate advances in biomedical science into improvements in population and community health. Powderly has also led WashU’s Institute for Public Health since 2013, where he was instrumental in facilitating the establishment of the new School of Public Health.
