Mark A. Fiala, MSW, PhD, is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Oncology. His work focuses on cancer disparities, including how social determinants of health such as race, socioeconomic status and insurance coverage impact treatment decisions and health outcomes for people with cancer.
