Cultural anthropologist Jean Hunleth, MPH, PhD, is an associate professor of surgery in the Division of Public Health Sciences. Hunleth studies caregiving and treatment-seeking for infectious and chronic diseases. Her research across Zambia and the United States aims to involve children’s experiences, insights and creativity as sources of innovation in public health research, programs and policies.
