Talking Public Health with Natalicio Serrano

Natalicio (Nat) Serrano is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Behavior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. His research focuses on creating equitable and sustainable environment and policy strategies for healthy living promotion and chronic disease prevention. Dr. Serrano utilizes a systems approach to understand and address how interrelated sectors such as transportation, planning and housing are impacted by environment and policy strategies.
His talk is titled, “Do Healthy Neighborhoods Occur by Chance or Design?” and it is available in-person and on Zoom.
The Talking Public Health seminar series features presentations by leading thinkers in public health at WashU and elsewhere.
