Talking Public Health with Matthew Boyce

Matthew Boyce is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health, and a faculty affiliate at the USA Center for Rural Public Health Preparedness. His interdisciplinary research focuses on global and domestic health security, with emphases on subnational preparedness for public health emergencies and public health preparedness disparities.
His talk is titled, “Un(der)prepared: the need to rethink and reinforce public health preparedness,” and it will be available in-person and on Zoom.
The Talking Public Health seminar series features presentations by leading thinkers in public health at WashU and elsewhere. Speakers present their work and engage with the audience to advance the ideas that shape public health. Each talk is recorded and posted to the School of Public Health’s YouTube channel.
