About the program

Public Health & Society (PH&S) is an undergraduate program offered within Arts & Sciences and co-directed by WashU Public Health and Arts & Sciences faculty. A degree in PH&S provides a robust foundation for aspiring professionals in diverse fields such as medicine, business, government, nonprofit advocacy and policy. By combining the intellectual rigor of an Arts & Sciences degree with hands-on professional training, the PH&S program equips students with the skills to make a real impact. The program is offered as a major and a minor.
